MEET OUR MASSAGE THERAPIST

ROZALIND SORENSEN

Rozalind has been a practicing therapist for 14 years. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology, is a Certified Athletic Therapist and Registered Massage Therapist. Her professional background has included working in a variety of settings including physiotherapy, chiropractic, massage and multidisciplinary clinics, Saint Mary’s University Athletics, and Acadia University Athletics. These experiences have exposed her to a variety of treatment protocols, injuries and therapeutic modalities.

She has a strong passion to learn, so following her certification she continued with several courses including: Myofascial Cupping, Instrumental Massage Techniques (M2T Blade), CrossFit Level 1 and 2 Coach, Indirect/Direct Oscillation Techniques, Soft Tissue Release, MIPA Work Level 1, Nerve Flossing Techniques, and One Brain Concussion Assessment and Rehab.

She believes that every treatment is unique and that each of her clients should receive the best treatment she can offer. Feedback during and after treatment is encouraged as this allows the massage to be tailored to your specific needs. Her technique style varies greatly depending upon her clients condition, pain tolerance and preferred care. If you are seeking relaxation, deep tissue, myofascial release or rehabilitative exercises Roz can provide the best care possible.
